Sunset Recorder runs on a Raspberry Pi and records a configured UniFi Protect camera around local sunset.

How it handles footage

The original camera stream and any separate sharing or timelapse files are kept on the Pi. The current retention setting keeps recordings indefinitely. The service uploads the full-quality recording to the connected YouTube channel with visibility set to Private. It does not upload the lightweight copy by default.

The site you are viewing is only an information page. It does not show recordings, provide access to the camera, or sign users into the recorder.
